About She Moves
La fondatrice
Hello, I’m Flora! I’m a dance therapist and the founder of She Moves. I’m a French expat living in Brussels, a mother of two, a passionate dancer, and a committed citizen determined to help build a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world.
After a career in international relations and public affairs, I decided to channel my energy, creativity, and leadership into the cause closest to my heart: women’s empowerment. Convinced that structural change begins with individual transformation, I support women right in my own community—in my neighborhood and in my city.
Women who are ill, women who are exhausted, women who are marginalized… But also women who are “doing well” and who wish to use their bodies as a gateway to get to know themselves better and use their talents to empower others.
How? Through dance and sisterhood—paths to healing and transformation. Because that is what healed me: from my grief, my postpartum depression, my bore-out, my limiting beliefs, and my self-imposed constraints…

The Method
My method connects movements of the body with inner movements — emotions, beliefs, feelings. Through dance therapy and art therapy, women are invited to reconnect with their bodies, express their creativity, and thereby get to know themselves better and embrace who they are. In a safe and caring space, free of performance or judgment, the transformation process offered is gradual and tailored to each woman. Specific goals are worked on in each group workshop/individual session at the physical, psychological, relational and creative level, bringing many benefits to the physical and mental health of participants/patients.
She Moves' values
Authenticity
here the masks fall away, we dare to reveal and embrace ourselves as we are, with our talents but also our flaws and vulnerabilities.
Openness
to the unknown, to others, to our dreams, to shedding light on our shadow areas… In the hope that renewal is always possible! That Life and Joy always have the last word!
Sisterhood
solidarity among women, mutual support, without judgment, without competition. Inspiring relationships within an embodied and owned femininity, to journey together toward greater empowerment.
“If there is one thing my art symbolizes, it is women's freedom and their liberation from the shackles of convention.”
Isadora Duncan
Partners
She Moves grows in connection with a network of organizations committed to women's well-being: physiotherapy and midwifery practices specialized in the perinatal period, care centers, women's houses, community centers, places of connection, groups of healthcare professionals, etc. I deeply believe in the strength of the collective and favor a multidisciplinary approach. These collaborations allow me to ensure a holistic approach to care, to reach women where they need it, and to build a living, committed community together.
